Album: Exile from Mainstream
This gravelly, sleazy blues rocker celebrates the underdogs, the ones who were sorted out by mainstream society. A washed-up old rocker and a worn-down old street dog break down the boundaries between species and bond over their shared experiences, asking each other “Who’s gonna heal us now?” A gritty acoustic guitar riff paired with washboard percussion, jaw- and blues-harp, and some dirty slide guitar played with a wrench (!) create the perfect dusty backdrop for this road trip.

Story
In a call with a music industry insider, the topic of "legacy artists" came up. So called "legacy artists" are artists who were somewhat famous at some point in the past, then fell out of fashion, and are now perceived to just sell nostalgia to people of their generation who want to relive their youth... We were advised to "avoid them like the plague" because they apparently carry the industry stamp of "irrelevant and uncool" on their forehead now. This pissed us off. Some of these "legacy artists" have been working their asses off in the music business for decades, dedicating their lives to it, keeping going after the fame blew over, going back from playing sold out shows to playing tiny venues with shitty backlines in front of 10 people... Keeping rock'n'roll alive, giving it the best they could. We think these guys deserve respect! They are part of who we are, they influenced us, why should we be embarrassed about that now just because the industry lost interest at some point?! Just like older shelter dogs struggle to get adopted, these guys struggle to get recognition. But just because you're not young, cute, and fluffy anymore doesn't mean that you have nothing to give!
