Lyrics

Wanna show you something like

the joy inside my heart
Seems I've been living in the temple of the dog
Where would I live if I were a man of golden words?
Or would I live at all?

Words and music, my only tools
Communication

And on arrival, I will set free the birds
It's a pretty time of year

when the mountains sing out loud
Tell me, Mr. Golden Words, how's about the world?
Tell me can you tell me at all? yeah

Words and music, my only tools
Communication

Let's fall in love with music
The driving force of our livings
The only international language
Divine glory, the expression
The knees bow, the tongue confesses
The lord of lords, the king of kings
The king of kings, oh, yeah

Words and music, my only tools
Communication
Words and music, oh yeah yeah
Communication

Story

This tribute is a very natural connection for us: Like Mother Love Bone, our sound sits at the intersection of punk, glam and grunge. While the Seattle band famously called their style “Love Rock,” we describe our own genre as “Nature Warrior Glam Punk” — music that spreads love, hope and a positive fighting spirit while acknowledging the darker sides of life.
As Gen-Xers shaped by the grunge era, we share many influences with the Seattle scene, from ’70s hard rock and punk to a DIY ethos and political consciousness.
The release is accompanied by a poetic stop-motion video telling a dreamlike story of friendship and loss. Inspired by the toys Andrew Wood was known to carry — and a photograph of a pink unicorn peeking from his leather jacket — the video follows Sniffles, a pink bunny searching for a lost friend in a haunting heathland landscape.
Created while we ourselves were grieving a close friend, the project became both tribute and catharsis — highlighting the enduring power of music to connect, heal and communicate.
