song: Starry Eyes
(© 1981 Nikki Sixx)
This is a demo recording we did as a laugh for a Crüe cover song thingy-thongy.
We ended up really liking it, so we threw together a video as well.
Lyrics
See how she laughs
She's got the power of a star in her eyes
And when you're cold now
She'll remind you what you came to this city for
I won't put in your words how I feel
But her face on the wall makes me sing this song
I set myself free
Just me and my friend
Out on the Hollywood streets
Oh starry eyes
Oh oh (repeat)
Standing alone in the light
You could see us cry
With a smile and a wink
And a sparkle in our eyes
We calmly sighed, we will be alright
Yeah child we've had to take the pain
Of a man on the streets
You gotta let us in
Just two friends
out in the Hollywood night
Oh, starry eyes
Oh, oh (repeat)
